Ingredients
- 8 cups cabbage, shredded (75% Green / 25% Red)
- 1 ¼ tsp salt
- 3 cups carrot, grated
- ½ cup onion, diced
- ⅓ cup white vinegar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp dry mustard powder
- ½ tsp celery seed, ground lightly
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Add the shredded cabbage, onion, carrot, parsley into a large bowl. Toss until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the salt, vinegar, vegetable oil, sugar, mustard, and celery seed.
- Pour the dressing over the vegetable mix.
- Cover loosely and refrigerate for a little while to let the flavours soak in, about 15 minutes.
