Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz sour cream
- ½ tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 15 oz jar salsa
- 2 cups shredded tex-mex cheese
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- ½ cup shredded lettuce (optional)
- 1 tomato, diced (optional)
- ¼ cup olives, sliced (optional)
- ¼ cup jalapeno, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Scoop out the cream cheese and place it in a bowl, whisking it until smooth.
- Add the sour cream and taco seasoning, mix until thoroughly combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly onto the bottom of an appropriate sized dish.
- Evenly disperse the salsa on top of the cream cheese mixture, then top that with the shredded cheese. Optional: add your other toppings.
- Cover the dish refrigerate it for about 30-40 minutes until the cream cheese has firmed a bit.
- Enjoy with tortilla chips.
